Job Responsibilities:
Research Fellow (1): The candidate will be working mainly with bench-based experiments & will also take responsibility in supervising postgraduate students.
Research Fellow (2): The candidate will need to conduct data analysis and bioinformatics & also take responsibility in supervising postgraduate students.
Job Requirements:
The laboratory is looking for 2 independent, hardworking and efficient Research Fellows who can manage a number of projects in a fast moving area of exciting science: bat genomics and virus-bat interaction. The applicant should have a PhD in a scientific discipline with experience in any of the following: biochemistry, microbiology, virology, immunology, cell biology or genomics/bioinformatics. Experience in animal handling and animal infection studies will be an additional advantage.
