Molecular Biologist or Bioinformaticist of Cardiac Progenitors : Boston, MA, United States

A postdoctoral position is available to study molecular mechanisms of cardiac progenitor cell lineage specification and congenital heart disease in the Li laboratory at The Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. This project will focus on the regulatory network that guides cardiac lineage specification and differentiation. The laboratory uses integrated and collaborative approaches including mouse genetics, RNA-seq, DNase-seq and the directed-cardiac differentiation of embryonic stem cells paradigm (Li et al, Science 2002, Li et al, Nature 2003, Olson et al, Cell 2006, Guo et al, JCI 2011).
Candidates must have a recent PhD in molecular biology, developmental biology, bioinformatics or closely related field and have published first author peer-reviewed articles. Salary will follow NIH guidelines commensurate with training and experience.
