As part of Warwick Medical School's substantial investment in microbiology and infection, we wish to appoint a Research Associate in Microbial Bioinformatics. You will join a multi-disciplinary team of internationally competitive scientists focused on microbial pathogenomics and translational microbiology. You will be expected to contribute to our expanding programme of research on microbial genomics, metagenomics and population genetics by establishing and maintaining relevant computer hardware and software and assisting with research projects.
Recent relevant experience in the administration of relevant computer platforms and systems will be the main criterion for appointment. You should have an undergraduate degree in a relevant subject or equivalent experience and/or training in a commercial or academic environment.
