Location: Aarhus, Denmark, CLC bio HQ
Have you ever wanted to build the world's best software platform for bioinformatics? To live in a Scandinavian city founded by Vikings? To work in a company that is young, vibrant and different? At CLC bio, we offer all of these, and more. Over just a few years, CLC bio has become a globally operating and world leading bioinformatics solutions provider. In the process, we have redefined the field of commercial bioinformatics with our unique ambition to build a fully integrated bioinfomatics platform that spans all the way from programming environments to advanced graphical user interfaces, and from desktop applications to high-performance computing tools. This platform is now used by researchers throughout the world in the fight against cancer, in the design of new crops to feed the world and in the creation of new medicines.
But it is not just our software that is different, it is also how we build it. Within our Research & Development department we provide a unique, creative environment for software development and research based on Scandinavian values and a lifestyle that attracts uniquely creative and ambitious researchers. Our culture is imbued with a "relaxed ambitiousness" based on our strong belief that the creativity of the individual is set free by sharing responsibility, initiative and decisions. This means that we offer an involving and non-bureaucratic environment that allows you to focus on your passion for bioinformatics, research and great software.
