Intern - Bioniformatics
Employment Dates: May/June 2013-August 2013
Responsibilities
You will be working in the Ampliseq (tm) bioinformatics team of the ION Torrent division of Life Technologies, designing and working on methods for the design of highly multiplexed PCR assays that amplify transcripts, genes and genomic regions for sequencing on ION Torrent next-generation DNA sequencers.
Requirements
Intern candidates must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD program. Graduating students are eligible only if they are returning to school the following semester to pursue the next level degree.
Preferred Majors
Bioinformatics, or Biology/Comp. Sci double major
