If you are a Software Engineer with a strong background in Python and C++, please read on!Based in Cambridge, MA (the leading biotechnology hub on the East Coast), we are a start-up genomics company that is venture capital backed and partnered with the most intelligent minds at Harvard University. Due to massive growth, we are looking to hire a Software Engineer to help analyze and develop our applications that correlate with our next-generation sequencing platform. Our next engineer should have advanced development skills in C++, Linux, and Python (or Ruby, Perl, etc...). Any experience with next-generation sequence analysis would be a huge plus, but not required. You will become an integral part of our team and help develop the most advanced DNA sequencing platform in the world!
Must-Have Skills:
- Advance development experience with Python
- Advanced development experience with C++
- Advanced development experience with Linux
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
Nice to Have Skills:
- Sequence Analysis experience
- Bioinformatics / Computational biology experience
- Master's / PhD in Computer Science. Mathematics, or related field
- Agile Development experience
