The group focuses on methods and applications for identifying transcription factor binding sites in DNA sequences and Next-Gen sequence data analysis. The group has strong interactions with statisticians in the Branch and biologists at the Institute. Successful candidates must have a Ph.D in Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, or related areas. Prior experience in DNA sequence analysis is not required, but desirable. Programming skills in C, C++, R, or MatLab are required. Initial appointments will be for two years and may be renewed.
